If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like if a particularly stylish woman from 1968 suddenly materialized at the US Open in 2026, Maura Higgins has provided a pretty compelling answer. The Traitors alum showed up at the tennis tournament looking as though she’d stepped directly out of an episode of That Girl.

Higgins wore her hair in a voluminous, shoulder-skimming lob with the ends dramatically flipped outward, creating that unmistakable kicky silhouette associated with so many late-'60s and early-'70s looks. The shape is especially reminiscent of Marlo Thomas's famously flippy hair as Ann Marie. (Look it up, kids!) Her full, straight-across bangs sit just above her brows, adding to the retro shape, not to mention the resemblance.

The reality star topped off the style with a wide, white fabric band. It’s the kind of accessory that could have been snatched off a mannequin in a 1960s department-store window, or off of Barbra Streisand’s vanity during her Funny Girl era.

Her outfit couldn’t have been more suitable for such a throwback hairstyle: a vintage Chanel set consisting of a cropped, short-sleeve top and matching knee-length skirt, both finished with contrasting black-and-white trim that’s mirrored in her cat-eye sunglasses. Strategically tucked into her hair, they beg the question, “Did Maura Higgins even bother doing her eye makeup?”—because we’ve yet to find a photo from the tournament in which she’s not wearing them.

Perhaps this flipped-out lob is more than a hairstyle. Maybe the former hairdresser, who has told Allure of her undying love for wearing wigs, is hinting that she’s getting her go-go boots ready for Dancing With the Stars. But even if she doesn’t end up trying some old-school dance moves during her latest reality-TV takeover, she’s at least proven she’s groovy in other ways.
